The Pacifica Mill is a custom cabinetry and millwork shop in Malibu that builds for homes across the Westside of Los Angeles and the coast. We take on a limited number of projects so each one is measured, built and installed by our own crew.

Where we work in LA

Because we install everything ourselves, we keep to a stretch of Los Angeles we can reach well: Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Topanga and Calabasas, and other Westside neighborhoods when the scope makes sense. If your house is elsewhere in Los Angeles, send the address and the room and we will tell you plainly whether we can do it well.

What one shop gives you

Kitchens, vanities, closets, built-ins, paneling and doors drawn and built by one shop means matching wood and finish across the house, one set of shop drawings for your builder, and one point of contact from measure to final adjustment. Shop drawings typically take 1–2 weeks after the site measure, and fabrication typically takes 6–10 weeks from drawing approval.

Common questions

Which parts of Los Angeles do you serve?
Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Topanga and Calabasas, plus other Westside neighborhoods and the coast toward Ventura when the scope makes sense for us to measure and install ourselves.
Do you work with my architect, designer or builder?
Yes. We work from your architect's or designer's drawings, turn them into dimensioned shop drawings and send those back for review before anything is cut. We coordinate blocking, plumbing, electrical and appliance specs with your builder. We also work directly with homeowners when there is no designer on the job.
How is custom cabinetry priced?
We quote by the linear foot from plans or a site measure and itemize anything outside that. Send drawings, or photos and rough dimensions, and we will come back with a quote.
How long does it take?
Shop drawings typically take 1–2 weeks after the site measure, and fabrication typically takes 6–10 weeks from drawing approval. Installation is usually days, not weeks.
